The collection period for the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023 has been extended for another 6 months from 19th April 2026 to 18th October 2026 for the public to continue to donate in order to alleviate the suffering and burden of the Palestinian people in Gaza. The extension of collection period of the fund is by the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The extension includes the collection platform via SMS Brunei Prihatin, which is handled by Datastream Digital Sendirian Berhad (DST Sendirian Berhad), Progresif Sendirian Berhad and Imagine Sendirian Berhad; Donation boxes provided in mosques, suraus and places of worship throughout the country, public buildings as well as commercial and banks building in cooperation with the Association of Banks; and organising charity activities for the purpose of collecting donations. The total collection of the fund as of 14th of April 2026 is BND7,525,496.27. Part of the fund has been used for the delivery of humanitarian aid in the form of ready-to-eat meal packets to Palestine by air-drop carried out from 13th to 15th March 2024.
